Finally, doing what i’ve always wanted to do – animation!
My digital & virtual class are undertaking a project of making a short movie animation! We have developed the story, now me and two others are finalizing the storyboard. At times it can be fun, but at others quite boring (I’m currently bored), did a first character concept which I’m quite happy with =) hope it doesn’t change too much…
What else? I went to IED for no reason, the coordinator didn’t even bother to warn us there wouldn’t be class! But on the other hand, we came up with the brilliant idea of having a graduation trip =D I made a group in FB to get the idea moving, hope it goes beyond just an idea…
What else, what else? A nice, fun, peacefull atmosphere has taken place. Ah, how pleasant! Unfortunetly I was reminded of a fool i was with from the past, but thankfully he’s long forgotten! And it seems as though i havent gotten over my newest crush, but it takes time doesn’t it? Half of me wants to forget, half of me wants to hold on to you with a glimpse of hope that something may happen… It’ll be fine, I shall watch thee from a distance and wish upon a star =)

A never ending anguish that comes upon me, so sudden… An emptyness that seeks something, but what? Freedom or love? Untill now I have only considered freedom to be the most important thing i seek, yet if i do get it – what will remain? Ah, and if I havent mentioned before check out a program called OrSiSo, it does a pretty good job at integrating everything in one place. It has facbeook, twitter, flickr, msn, etc all in one place – its suppose to make it easier to organise and update things. It’s new, so it won’t have all social networks, but it is on its way in doing so…

Discovered a music “arena” so to speak, hehe its called Jamendo its got awesome music by emerging artists for free! that’s right – for free, but do try to pay tribute to their songs when you use them in some sort of project! Another great discovery of mine is a guy called Mike Wesch. He talked about the net, youtube and all sorts of stuff in a clear simple thought-through way – I HIGHLY recommend you watch his videos on youtube, excellent stuff! I’m going to do a bit of research on anthropology to fully understand what its about – I’m considering taking a class (that’s how much he’s influenced me)!
Well, all was well and wonderfull in Oslo but now its back to reality in Sao Paulo.
Need to get ready for my comeback in IED which means: checking, retouching + organizing my old work to start a new term. I now have a great instrument at hands for my work – I realized my dream of having a Wacom tablet, I’ll finally be able to do things more easily and quickly (as I have stated in my deviantart journal)! So far, I have worked on my IGCSE and IB pictures and I’ll eventually get to the IED ones, I did some cleaning up in deviantart and facebook – only keeping what i thought was best…
I’ve started to do 2 digital pieces, one using a stock pic and the other is meant to be sort of like a site opening to my own work, you’ll see later on what i mean…

A superb and wonderful comeback!
I couldn’t ask for a better holiday – in Norway! I did practically everything I wanted to do!
In the first few days the weather was very hot – over 30 degrees! A bit too hot for me actually as i stated in my twitter… The apartment where we stayed was very comfy and cute! We even considered the possibility of moving back here (*O*) (that would be a dream come true)! Oh oh and we had wonderfull breakfast everyday! I had levepostei, shrimp, salmon, strawberry jam, blueberry jam, waffle, oh and even goat cheese which i wasn’t that fond of when i lived there. In the next few days it cooled down and it was lovely! I went to parks and gave food for ducks, walked around the city (also by my self for a change!), shopping centers that I use to go to when i lived here (bought some awesome things which I’ll be posting at poupee ofcourse), went on a closeby island with bro (unfortunetly got sick), went out with the family to an italian restaurant where the smell as you get in is divine! Had an aweseome italian calzone – highly recommended for anyone who goes there (need to find out the name of the place). Had LOVEBIFF which i loved to eat as a kid (*O*) its like a big thin hamburger with sauce and salad and fries! Oh and on my mother’s birthday we ate at another great place and me and my bro ordered a pizza (which we so dearly love) and my god was it good (drooling)!
I didn’t want to post anything the day Michael Jackson died. Many people were tweeting and facebook etc about it already (including myself) so i found more appropriate to write about it later with a more thought through opinion of the situation. To be honest, I still don’t know what to say, but what I do know is that I’ll miss him a lot.
I wasn’t a number 1 fan, but i was definetly a fan. I stopped listening to his songs for a while due to the scandals which i also wasn’t sure of what to think of at the time, and i was following the other artists boosting out in the music industry consequently he got left behind… I remained listening to his earlier songs once in a while, and now it looks like its in the top of the charts after his death.
What’s going to happen? I’ll probably listen to it all until i get fed up (because that is indeed possible with all songs though one may take longer than the other). Many fans thought he left too soon, many thought he left too late due to scandals and his financial situation; i believe he left at the right time, he was probably tired and fed up with many things. For me, although I’m sad that he left us, death is not a bad thing, its only a new beginning. I’ll watch his clips and his interview (i only saw parts of it and it moved me). What else can i say? I’ll miss you loads MJ, rest in peace.
